A Badjao family with Mission workers in Malitam,
Batangas City
The Badjao are a Muslim people group scattered throughout the Philippines. They are
among some of the poorest of the poor people. The Quezon Mission Organization currently is
targeting two tribes of Badjao: one in Barra Dalahican, Quezon Province, and the other in
Malitam, Bantangas City. The work began in March of 1999, and there is a local church
planted with baptized believers in each location today.
There are two full-time missionaries working with these two new churches. Those who
have committed their lives to Christ and been baptized have pledged their allegiance to
Isa Al-Masi (Jesus Christ). This new millennium, bible studies, worship services, and cell
groups are the on-going activities to strengthen their new-found relationship with Jesus.
